The Hörmann Speed Master Series offered by Correct Door has been installed in demanding manufacturing and industrial applications for over 30 years. 1600 Eco Model
SPEED-MASTER 1600 L ECO
- The Eco’s panel is constructed of 58 oz./sq. yd., anti-static, puncture resistant, nylon-reinforced PVC material, one full-width vision area made of clear PVC is standard, and heavy duty interlocking aluminum hinge profiles located above and below the vision area to provide panel stability. The sectional panel design allows for easy replacement of materials if needed after a hit. A variety of panel colors are available to accommodate any color scheme: Pure Orange RAL 2004, Gentian Blue RAL 5010, Zinc Yellow RAL 1018, Carmine Red RAL 3002, Agate Gray RAL 7038, Pure White RAL 9010.
- The Speed-Master® 1600 L19 Eco is equipped with heavy duty 12 gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel guide tracks and a standard built in light grid. Completely free of coil cords, the light grid provides a thorough wall of protection for personnel and equipment at the doorway, as compared to other doors that use only photocells. The low-profile track dimensions of 7-3/8″ wide x 4-3/8″ projection enable the Eco to fit into areas with limited clearance.
- The Speed-Master® 1600 L19 Eco is only available with the HFCB 1-phase control box. A special UPS emergency battery pack is optional and provides peace-of-mind in case of a power failure. If power is lost to the door, the UPS emergency battery pack automatically opens the door once to allow personnel to quickly exit the area. This low maintenance design is free of springs, counterbalance systems and other high maintenance parts that are typically required for emergency opening. When the battery is low, an alarm sounds to signal time for replacement. Replacing the battery is a simple process that takes just a few minutes.

SPEED-MASTER 1600 L
- The Speed-Master® 1600 L19 has guide tracks made of heavy duty 12 gauge galvanized steel, with dimensions of 7-3/8″ wide x 4-3/8″ projection which enable the Speed-Master® 1600 L19 to fit into areas with limited clearance. A light grid is built into the guide tracks up to 8’0″ high. Completely free of coil cords, the light grid provides a thorough wall of protection for personnel and equipment at the doorway, as compared to other doors that use only photocells. Full perimeter draft seals provide dust and odor containment, as well as general environmental control.
- The Speed-Master® 1600 L19 has the following control box configuration as standard: The 208 v to 575 v / 3-phase / 60 Hz Smart Start™ NXT NEMA 4X control box. Optional: 230 v / 1-phase / 60 Hz / 3-phase output NEMA 3 control box, available for doors up to 10’0″ wide x 10’0″ high.

- Standard on the Speed-Master® 2600 L is a light grid built into the guide tracks up to 8’0″ high. Completely free of coil cords, the light grid provides a thorough wall of protection for personnel and equipment in the doorway, as compared to other doors that use only photocells. The light grid also eliminates the need for a panel reversing edge, which is typically vulnerable to damage, resulting in a reduction in maintenance and downtime. Full perimeter draft seals provide dust and odor containment as well as general environmental control.
- The Speed-Master® 2600 L now includes our next generation Smart Start™ NXT NEMA 4X control box. The updated control box has a simplified wiring configuration, is more powerful, and has fewer components and cables as compared to the original Smart Start™. A distribution block accepts the activation and protection device wiring; main power cables fee through pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the box where the individual wires, with pre-wired removable terminal blocks, simply plug into the circuit board.

4600 Large Model
SPEED-MASTER 4600 L
- Recommended for exterior or interior door openings up to 33’0″ wide x 30’0″ high or 690 square feet, the Speed-Master® 4600 L is constructed of patented, interlocking aluminum hinges which act as integral windbars, creating a sectional panel design that provides panel stability and increased wind resistance. Sliding the panels apart without removing the entire door or roll assembly allows for inexpensive replacement, and a full-width vision area provides unobstructed viewing. Since the Speed-Master® bottom bar consists of few parts, does not support a tensioning system, and requires less repair time, it can be replaced at a lower cost than comparable products.

SPEED-MASTER 1600 XL
- The Speed-Master® 1600 XL19 is the ideal product for applications where the opening is over 14’w x 16’h, but the budget doesn’t allow for the expense of moving to a Speed-Master® 2600 L.
- The Speed-Master® 1600 XL19 is uniquely designed for large exterior or interior door openings. 1/16″ thick, 58 oz. vinyl panels are connected with aluminum windbars for superior windload capacity up to 90 mph (static). An aluminum bottom bar with breakaway tabs breaks out of the guide tracks if accidental impact occurs. Panel windlocks are optional for added wind pressure resistance.
